In the Food Preparation and Nutrition Department, we aim to instil a passion for food and a love of cooking, whilst developing confident, creative and healthy individuals, who make a positive contribution to their community.
Our curriculum has been developed to support both the academic and personal development of students through equipping them with the crucial life skill of feeding themselves affordably, nutritiously and responsibly.
We aim to support the personal development of our students, whilst affording them the opportunity to further their interest in food at home and in the world of work.
Our Food Preparation and Nutrition Curriculum will equip students with transferable, lifelong skills that they can use in everyday life, and in their future careers.
Students who follow the GCSE course will achieve a highly valued qualification that supports further studies in the subject area, as well as future career aspirations.
