Dear Parent/Carer,

The Music Department is very much looking forward to welcoming the Year 7 students in September and I am sure that your child is excited about starting secondary school also. There are a range of extra-curricular musical activities that take place on a weekly basis here in the Academy and your child will have the opportunity to take part in these.

It is important to organise the Music lesson provision for your child’s arrival. Lessons are available on all instruments (keyboard & piano, strings, brass, woodwind, drums, guitar) and are delivered here in the Academy by specialist teaching staff.

Lessons are organised and paid for externally and I would urge you to get in contact (see below) to secure your child’s place as soon as possible.
