In glorious sunshine, Lostock Hall Academy’s Year 11 students arrived at Rivington Hall Barn for their much-anticipated Valedictory Dinner, marking the end of an important chapter in their school journey.

The evening began in spectacular fashion as students made their grand arrivals, dressed in their finest suits and stunning gowns, each showcasing their own individual style. There were plenty of memorable entrances, with students arriving in an impressive collection of classic and luxury vehicles, supercars, party buses and a stretched Hummer limousine. One student even made a truly unforgettable entrance on horseback in full dressage attire. Among the impressive arrivals was even the iconic A -Team van, adding an extra touch of fun and nostalgia to the occasion.

Before dinner, the Head Students delivered thoughtful speeches, reflecting on their time at Lostock Hall Academy, thanking staff for their support, and sharing their hopes and ambitions for the future. Their words perfectly captured the spirit of the occasion and the strong sense of community that has been built throughout their school years.

Students and staff then came together to celebrate achievements, reflect on their time at the Academy, and recall the many memories that will last a lifetime. The evening was filled with laughter, pride and, for many, a few tears as students celebrated not only their accomplishments but also the lasting friendships and strong relationships they have built during their time at Lostock Hall Academy.

Guests enjoyed a delicious three-course dinner, followed by music and dancing. The celebrations concluded with the much-anticipated balloon drop, providing a fantastic finale and ensuring the evening ended on a high.

A special thank you goes to Miss Budd for organising another outstanding event, as well as to the team at Rivington Hall Barn, whose professionalism and hospitality helped create a truly memorable occasion for everyone in attendance.

Everyone at Lostock Hall Academy is immensely proud of Year 11 and all they have achieved. We wish them every success and happiness as they move on to the next stage of their journey and look forward to hearing about the bright futures that undoubtedly lie ahead.
