Welcome to Lostock Hall Academy

Halloween Fun at Lostock Hall Aademy on Wednesday 26th October

Doors Open 6:30pm for Burgers, Hotdogs, Bar,Prizes and much more!

Congratulations to the students of Lostock Hall Academy, who despite the national picture showing a significant drop in results, the lowest since 2008, are celebrating their fantastic results.

The drive for excellence across the academy continues with subjects such as English achieving 80% A*-C grades. As South Ribble High School of the Year, we recognise the importance of sport and the arts and are proud to continue with the high level of achievement in GCSE PE reaching 94% A*-C grades and Art and Design 100% A*-C. As young adults the skills acquired through these subjects will contribute towards ensuring that they succeed not only in the academic world, but the world of work.

With over 71% of students achieving 5 A*-C GCSE grades compared to 67% nationally, it was a day to be proud of. Hard working students and high aspirations at Lostock Hall Academy have helped to ensure high academic grades and personal bests.

Students like Alice Crook who gained no less than 10 A*-A grades, Shannon Raponi with 10 A*-A grades, Ethan Colman with 8 A*-A grades are just a few of the students who have demonstrated the high levels of achievement expected at Lostock Hall Academy.

Lostock Hall Academy 2016 GCSE Exam Results

Mrs Gorman, Headteacher at Lostock Hall Academy said “ It’s not only been the natural talent, but sheer hard work and determination that has helped to ensure success for those students now moving on to the next stage of their future career. The Governing Body and I are proud of not only the results, but the resilience, hard work and determination shown by the students and staff this year against the backdrop of continuing upheaval in education. We would like to also thank all those parents who have been fully supportive of not only their child, but the academy staff, in helping to ensure the very best for their child. We wish all our students moving on every success for the future.

As we approach the 50th Year Celebrations of the opening of Lostock Hall Academy and students move on, we would welcome the return of students from past years to join us in a range of planned events for the coming year.
